OWH Sketch #164
I loved layering on this Operation Write Home Sketch #164. I used one of my favorite (and most used) stamps from Michael's (Craftsmart), pretty polka dot Colorbok paper, satin ribbon and textured cardstock. I couldn't resist using green glitter glue on the little bunny tail (and I'm a little late sending donations for Easter) so I'll be using this myself as a fun Easter card.

Hoot Card - Anything Goes 4 Kids Challenge
I'm working on cards this week to go in my first package to Send a Smile 4 Kids. I loved this little Recollections owl and thought it would make a fun card for the Anything Goes 4 Kids Challenge.

The sentiment is computer generated and the papers/ribbon are all from my stash of too much stuff that I need to use up. :o)

OWH Midweek Throwdown Color Challenge
It was fun working on this OWH blue and green color challenge! I had the little alligator in a set of EK Success stickers. I thought, he's green! So, I turned him into a thicker embellishment and he went preppy with blue gingham paper (Paper Studio) and orange textured cardstock. My stamp is from Hero Arts.

OWH Sketch #161
I went with Operation Write Home Sketch #161 for today's card.
I didn't have any tools to do an oval so I went with straight sides and scalloped edges. I used up some of my DCWV Mariposa Stack and added satin ribbon, a Hampton Art stamp and little flower rhinestones.

OWH Sketch #162
I'm working at having cards finished every day for my donation packages. I missed the previous Operation Write Home sketches so I'm catching up on those each day too. :o) This is Sketch#162.
I love ladybugs . . . and frogs. I can't help but buy any cute ladybug embellishment I see! They are EK Success ladybugs and I'm trying to work through my tons of Studio G stamps. The papers are from my stock of papers and I also used smooth cardstock and black string.

OWH Sketch Challenge 163
I had fun with this card today using this week's Operation Write Home Sketch Challenge #163.
I bought this DCWV patterned paper over a year ago and never found a use for it until now. I found the paper flowers at Michael's and the two worked great for this card. I also used textured cardstock and white satin ribbon.

Howdy Card - For the Boys
This is my first challenge card . . . and my first time blogging! I'm terrible with technology so I'm a little nervous that I'm doing it all right. :o) I'm entering this card into the Send A Smile 4 Kids "For the boys" challenge and it will go along with my others as donations to Send A Smile 4 Kids. I had fun with it!
I love these Paper Studio paper designs and have also used them for boy birthday cards. The "Howdy" is computer generated and I used a Jolee's cowboy boot embellishment. The trim is brown suede. I layered the inside with the papers and white cardstock.
